Privacy Policy

How Ankor collects, uses, protects, and shares information through its website, application, and services.

Effective date: August 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Ankor Lacrosse LLC, doing business as Ankor Athletics (“Ankor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), handles information collected through ankorathletics.com, ankorathletics.app, and related services.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through Ankor’s websites, application, account tools, evaluation and development features, communications, and related services (collectively, the “Services”). It does not apply to third-party websites or services that link to or integrate with Ankor and are governed by their own privacy policies.

Ankor is a platform used by athletic organizations, schools, clubs, teams, coaches, parents, and athletes. An organization may have its own privacy notices and policies. Where an organization provides or manages your account, that organization may control certain information and access settings.

2. Information We Collect

Information you or your organization provide

  • Account information, such as name, email address, username, password-related information, role, and organization affiliation;
  • Athlete and roster information, such as age, date of birth, grade, team, position, attendance, and participation details;
  • Performance and development information, such as evaluations, ratings, scores, rankings, coach notes, goals, skill levels, recommendations, development plans, training data, and practice-related information;
  • Photos, audio, video, messages, and other content that a user or organization chooses to submit;
  • Information included in support requests, surveys, emails, or other communications; and
  • Payment and transaction information, when an organization or user purchases a paid Service. Payment card details may be processed by a third-party payment provider rather than stored directly by Ankor.

Information collected automatically

We may collect technical and usage information when you use the Services, such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, approximate location derived from IP address, pages or screens viewed, dates and times of access, referring pages, clicks, and interactions with the Services. We may use cookies, local storage, pixels, or similar technologies to keep the Services functioning, remember preferences, understand usage, and improve performance.

Information from other sources

We may receive information from your organization, a parent or legal guardian, another authorized user, a service provider, or a third-party integration that your organization chooses to connect to the Services.

3. Sensitive Information

An organization or user may choose to include information relating to injuries, wellness, physical measurements, or other sensitive athletic circumstances in evaluations, notes, or plans. Please do not enter information that is not necessary for the intended athletic-development purpose.

Ankor does not provide medical care, does not diagnose conditions, and does not intentionally collect biometric identifiers for identification purposes. The Services should not be used as a substitute for medical advice or as a medical-record system.

4. How We Use Information

We may use information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services;
  • create and display evaluations, skill recommendations, development plans, practice content, drill information, and related organizational tools;
  • allow authorized coaches, administrators, parents, and athletes to access information according to organization settings and user roles;
  • send service-related messages, including invitations, account notices, evaluation reminders, plan notifications, and support responses;
  • process payments and maintain business records;
  • monitor reliability, troubleshoot problems, prevent misuse, and protect the Services and users;
  • measure and improve the Services, including through aggregated or de-identified analytics;
  • comply with legal obligations and respond to lawful requests; and
  • enforce our Terms of Service and protect the rights, safety, and property of Ankor, our users, organizations, and others.

5. How We Share Information

We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Within an organization: Information may be visible to authorized coaches, administrators, athletes, parents, or other users based on the organization’s configuration and role permissions.
  • With service providers: We may share information with vendors that help us host, secure, analyze, support, communicate through, or process payments for the Services. They may use information only to provide services to us and are expected to protect it.
  • At your direction: We may share information when you or your organization asks us to, including through an enabled integration or shared plan.
  • For legal and safety reasons: We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a governmental request; investigate fraud or security issues; protect someone’s safety; or protect our rights and property.
  • Business transfers: Information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of some or all of our assets.
  • Aggregated or de-identified information: We may use or share information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it is not reasonably linked to an identifiable person, including for analytics, reporting, research, and product improvement.

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. We do not use identifiable child information for advertising or publicity. We do not use identifiable athlete information to train general-purpose artificial-intelligence models unless separately authorized in writing and, where required, with the appropriate consent.

6. Organizations and Youth Athletes

The Services may be used by organizations serving children and teenagers. Organizations are responsible for determining whether their use of the Services is appropriate, providing required notices, obtaining required permissions and consents, configuring access appropriately, and responding to requests from their athletes and families.

For users under 13, Ankor will handle personal information in accordance with applicable children’s privacy laws, including the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) where applicable. Access must be provided through a parent, legal guardian, school, club, team, or other authorized organization using a legally permitted consent process. We do not knowingly require a child under 13 to provide more personal information than is reasonably necessary to participate in the authorized Service.

Parents and legal guardians may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child’s personal information, or to refuse further collection or use, subject to applicable law and the organization’s role in managing the account. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify the requester’s identity and authority.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations. Retention periods may depend on the type of information, the organization’s account, and whether the information is needed for an active athlete-development record.

When information is no longer reasonably necessary for those purposes, we will delete it, de-identify it, or securely dispose of it in accordance with our practices and applicable law. Organization administrators may be able to deactivate accounts or remove content through the Services. To request deletion or ask a question about retention, contact us using the information below.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us or your organization if you suspect unauthorized access.

9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights

You may be able to review or update certain account information through the Services. You may also:

  • request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information;
  • ask us to stop or restrict certain uses where applicable;
  • unsubscribe from optional promotional communications by using the available unsubscribe mechanism; and
  • contact your organization about account access, athlete records, or organization-controlled information.

Some information is necessary to provide the Services, and deleting or restricting it may affect account access or functionality. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable law. To exercise a right or ask a question, email coachklipstein@ankorathletics.com.

10. Cookies and Analytics

We may use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, performance measurement, and service analytics. Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some parts of the Services may not function correctly. We do not use cookies to sell identifiable child information or to serve targeted advertising to children.

11. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may use or link to third-party services, including hosting, authentication, video, analytics, payment, communication, calendar, or integration providers. Those providers may collect or process information under their own privacy policies. Ankor is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of third parties that it does not control.

12. Children’s Privacy Requests and Complaints

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to Ankor without the required authorization, or if you have a privacy concern involving a minor, contact us promptly at coachklipstein@ankorathletics.com. We will review the request and take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law.

13. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version and revise the effective date above. If we make a material change, we will provide notice through the Services, by email, or by another reasonable method. Your continued use of the Services after an updated policy becomes effective means that you acknowledge the updated policy.
