For rec coaches and volunteer parents
Watch it once. Run it Saturday.
Ankor sends your league a season of practices. Each one is a plan you read in two minutes and a video you watch in the parking lot. Share the link with your assistant and run it.
This week — U10 field, session 4
Ground balls + first pass · 60 minutes, 3 periods
1 · Skill execution
Line drills, box ground balls, partner passing. Demo once, then split into stations.
2 · Decision making & movement
3v2 into the alley. Give them the structure, then let them solve the grey.
3 · Competition
Small-sided to a scoreboard. Keep the whistle quiet and let them play.
What Ankor is
A coaching staff in your pocket.
Rec coaches are volunteers. Most were handed a roster, a bag of balls, and a season. Ankor gives you the thing you actually lack: a plan for the next 60 minutes, written by coaches who do this for a living, and short enough to absorb before you get out of the car.
It’s the same system clubs use to develop players — packaged so a first-time coach can run it well.
You get
- A full season of plans, in order
- A short video for each one
- One link to share with anyone
- Printable field sheet
You don’t need
- Playing experience
- Prep time the night before
- A whiteboard or clipboard system
- To invent drills yourself

How it works — your Tuesday to Saturday
You don’t need a lacrosse résumé. You need the next 60 minutes.
01
Watch
A four-minute video of this week’s plan, coached by our staff. Watch it before you park.
02
Share
One link to your assistant and your parents. Everyone shows up knowing the plan.
03
Run it
Three timed periods on one printable page. Always be coaching — never waste a rep.
04
Send it home
Tap once and the drills go home with the kids. Next week builds on this one.
Inside every session
Everything is written for someone who has never coached.
The four-minute video
Watch on your phone
Our staff walks the plan on a real field: what the drill looks like, what to say, and the two mistakes kids make in it.
The one-page plan
Print it or keep it open
Three periods, timed to the minute, with the setup for each station. No lacrosse jargon you’d have to look up.
Share with your assistant
One link, no accounts
Send it to the other parent helping out. They can run their station without you standing over it.
Homework for the kids
Optional, one tap
Two drills they can do in a driveway. Progress shows up next practice, which is the whole point.
Questions rec coaches ask.
I’ve never played lacrosse. Is that a problem?
No. The video shows you the drill and the words to use. Most of our rec coaches are parents who volunteered in week one.
How much time does this take me?
Four minutes of watching before practice. That’s the whole ask.
Do I sign up, or does my league?
Usually the league, so every team runs the same progression. If yours isn’t set up yet, book a walkthrough and bring your commissioner.
What if my group is way behind the plan?
Repeat the session. The progression is built to be repeated — kids get better at a drill they’ve seen before, and that’s development.
